A COVID-19 Update From Verbena Sky

We are thinking with sad hearts of everyone affected by the COVID-19 virus, especially those diagnosed with the virus and their family and friends, and those whose employment and schools are disrupted. As humans, our new normal these days is stressful and something we won't ever forget. Together we will get through this! 

As an online business, we are open 24/7 and are here to serve you, whether you need a gift for someone or are just seeking some retail therapy for yourself. We will continue to operate as long as our shipping service providers continue to ship retail packages. 

 

As the public health situation continues to change rapidly, we are doing our part to help slow the spread of the virus. The health and safety of our dedicated employees and loyal customers is always our top priority. As a result, we are following the advice of the Centers for Disease Control (the CDC) and want to share with you how we are helping to prevent the spread of the virus.

Office environment: We encourage our small team of employees to follow the recommendations of the CDC, including hand washing, wiping down surfaces, and social distancing at work.

Our jewelry and leather goods: To maintain their pristine condition, we have always stored jewelry and leather goods in a double layer of plastic. Our jewelry is stored individually in small zipped plastic bags - to protect the stones and to help limit any potential tarnish of the gold plated and sterling silver metals. Our wallets and bags are also stored in larger zipped plastic bags to protect the leather and other finishes. All of the zipped bags are then stored in sealed hard plastic containers, further protecting the jewelry and bags from any potential damage or exposure to the elements. All of our products are kept on-site in a climate controlled area in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Shipping and Delivery:  According to the US government, shipping and mail delivery are considered essential services. As long as shipping services continue to allow delivery of retail packages, we will continue to ship our orders. Also according to the US Postal Service and the World Health Organization (the WHO), the risk of catching the COVID-19 virus from a delivered package is low, even if the package travels several days.
