Information on Shipping & Returns

 

What is your return policy?

If you need to return your item or would like to exchange it for something else, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. 

If your order was shipped to the US or Canada, we will email you a pre-paid shipping label. Once your item is returned back to us, we will send your new item or we will provide you with a refund.

For other international orders, unfortunately we cannot offer free returns. We will email you a pre-paid shipping label and deduct this shipping amount from your total order refund. Please contact us for more information. 

 

How much do you charge for shipping?

US Shipping:  Occasionally we offer free shipping specials. We normally charge $8 for standard shipping (3 - 5 days)  to US addresses.  If you require 2- Day Shipping, the charge is $16. 

To protect against the risk of "porch pirates", some customers prefer having someone at the delivery address sign for their package. We offer Signature Confirmation for an additional $4.

International Shipping: For standard shipping, we charge $12 for shipments to Canada and $20 to other international locations. For express deliveries, we use DHL and charge $25 to Canada and $35 to other locations. 

Regardless of how packages are shipped, all customers receive a tracking number to check the status of their package. Verbena Sky accepts no risk of merchandise being lost or damaged once it is shipped. All risk passes to you once your package is accepted by the shipping carrier. 

 

Who do you use for shipping?

Depending on the delivery address, our shipping carriers are the US Postal Service, UPS, FedEx, and DHL.

Please allow additional time for delivery to Alaska, Hawaii and for items that ship directly from vendors. For vendor-shipped items, please see information noted on the item's description page.

 

Special Note on International Shipping:

We do offer international shipping. However please be aware: (1) shipping may take longer than anticipated and (2) you are responsible for all of the fees, duties, and taxes required by your government on with your order. 

Most international shipping takes a few weeks, mainly due to delays at Customs. (DHL Express package delays are much shorter.) These delays are beyond our control and we cannot predict exactly how long they will be. Also once the package is released from Customs, your government will likely require you to pay Custom Fees, Duties, Taxes, or other mandated fees on your international purchase. We have no control over these additional charges and cannot predict what they may be. We suggest you contact your local Customs Office for current information.   

Another Note...While your package is at customs, there are times when your package will be opened and inspected. Any damage to your order or to the order's packaging by customs agents is beyond our control. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. The length of delay is variable and can cause a delay beyond our original delivery estimates. With the tracking number you receive with your order, you will be able to see the delivery status of your package and to where it has progressed.

To date, our international shipping has gone smoothly. We just wanted to make you aware of how international shipping works -- particularly if it is your first order. For questions or concerns, we highly recommend contacting your local Customs Office for the latest information.
